In support of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's mission of teaching, 研究, 公共服务, the University provides technological resources to students, 教师, 工作人员, and guests - along with a commitment to providing a safe and secure environment.

Each member of the campus community (students, 教师, 工作人员, and guests) is expected to protect the integrity of technological resources and to know and adhere to university rules, regulations and guidelines for their appropriate use. Those who use the campus technology, which includes but is not limited to technological hardware, 软件, wired and wireless internet access, 网络存储, network infrastructure and campus email are expected to do so responsibly and adhere to all local, 状态, and federal laws along with all other policies and procedures set forth by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the UW-System.

Each institution of the University of Wisconsin System shares in the mission of the UW System which is to develop human resources, to discover and disseminate knowledge, to extend knowledge and its application beyond the boundaries of its campuses, to serve and stimulate society by developing in students heightened intellectual, 文化, and humane sensitivities, 科学, 专业, and technological expertise; and a sense of value and purpose.
