In support of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's mission of teaching, 研究, 公共服务, the University provides technological resources to students, 教师, 工作人员, and guests - along with a commitment to providing a safe and secure environment.

Each institution of the University of Wisconsin System shares in the mission of the UW System which is to develop human resources, to discover and disseminate knowledge, to extend knowledge and its application beyond the boundaries of its campuses, to serve and stimulate society by developing in students heightened intellectual, 文化, and humane sensitivities, 科学, 专业, and technological expertise; and a sense of value and purpose.
